Engineer John Iwhewhe is the Chairman of Dr Tessy’s Veterinary limited. He holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Geophysics and a Master degree in drilling Engineering.

He is well travelled, worked in Africa, Middle East and the America’s, attending both local and international courses in drilling and management courses. A member of several engineering societies like: N.S.E, I.A.E.M.E, S.P.E. With his wealth of knowledge in both the international and local sector, he ensured Dr Tessy’s veterinary limited stand out amongst its competitors in both services and products.

He is a lover of dogs, loves driving, travelling and most of all unwinding with his family.

CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR​

Dr (Mrs) Theresa .K Iwhewhe is the Chief Medical Director of Dr Tessy’s Veterinary Hospital and She is the CEO of Dr Tessy’s Veterinary Limited. She is a  graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine(D.V.M.) and has master degree in Veterinary Science(MVsc.) from the inestimable University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

She is a member of the Veterinary council of Nigeria(V.C.N.), N.V.M.A and a Matron to several veterinary bodies spanning the western zone of Nigeria. Her love for small animals and wealth of experience drove her into establishing a world standard hospital that take care of all pets owners’ worries in one stop at Dr Tessy’s Veterinary hospital.

She is a lover of pets. her love for dogs ensured she gets the best breed in her keeps, loves travelling and taking out time to relax with her family.

He is a young professional who is enthusiastic about business enterprise.

He is a devoted Christian, who believes in God and hard work, happily married with 3 blessed children.

He loves Dogs, travelling and football.

ANN AJOKE GONZALEZ MESAGAN

Qualification: Business Administration and Economics.

She is a young business professional from Texas, USA who is enthusiastic about pets behavioral wellness and health , particularly dogs.

As a child she owned many pets to include rabbits, kittens, fish, tarantulas, turtles, lizards, praying mantis, chickens and many breeds of dogs.

By the time she was 25 she had raised several breeds – Dalmation , Dachshund, multiple German Shepherds, Labrador , and Irish Wolfhound.

She was raised with an Native American mindset to respect living creatures God has sent to Earth. Rather than excercise dominance choosing to operate with the mindset of “steward” of animals she tries to be mindful of the space she shares with animals, especially dogs.

Dogs have always held great significance to her ancestors and this reverence has passed no differently to her.

Culturally dogs were used not only to keep the home safe and to guard the family physically, but dogs also kept the home safe from evil spiritual intruders. Dogs were so revered in native Maya and Aztec culture that they were often sacrificed and buried with highest honour alongside their human companion when their owners died because it was believed they escorted and protected you in the afterlife also.

While she doesn’t participate in animal sacrifice, the basic idea of reverence for animals, especially dogs is important to her and holds true today.

She has volunteered for many animal rescue groups and assisted with pets transitioning to new homes via foster programs in the USA giving them basic training skills to assimilate to homes easier.

She has helped advocate for stricter punishments for animal abuse and worked closely with her community leaders for these goals. She has helped organise fundraising events to assist improvements for the animal shelter in the city and assisted with community outreach for education of better treatment of animals.

She has been a proven leader in many business settings bringing expertise of marketing, finance, organizational management, and professionalism to a space of pet wellness.

Born and raised Catholic, she incorporates her upbringing an cultural influence to caring for her own pets, currently furr mommy to a rambunctious German Shepherd named Skushi.

Fun Fact – Skushi might be the most spoiled German Shepherd in all of Nigeria. She also prays for the day her husband allows her to keep a pet goat, although the day may never come, the dream is alive.

An avid traveler, she dreams of touching all continents once in her life and visiting 50 countries before she turns 50. Traversing Asia and South America most recently and praying God allows her to experience the wonders of Africa. Her biggest goal of late is continuous learning and immersion of Yoruba culture.

She is married to a loving Yoruba man and lives her life now in awe of this Yoruba family that has adopted her. Her husband also breeds German Shepherds sharing her love for dogs.

She spends her free time going on runs and nature walks with her dog and husband when she isn’t traveling.

While she maintains a career in finance for last 13 years she has always left space to care for her dogs and regards them as part of the family.

DR SAMUEL OLUWATOBI OLUWABIYI
HEAD OF CLINICS

He is a registered member of VCN and the NVMA .
He is a young professional who is enthusiastic about small animal Medicine, Public Health and Surgery and Radiology.
This desire as driven him before now to have worked and learnt under different Veterinary medical establishments across the Northern and south-west region of the country under the tutelage of Principal practitioners in this fields stated above.
He is also a Co-author of an article published by Sokoto Journal of Veterinary science in 2021, On a title, “Effects of thiopental sodium Versus Ketamine hydrochloride in the Maintenance of Thiopental sodium Induced Anesthesia in Nigerian Indigenous Dogs”.
He has also served as a Volunteer and participated is several Pubic health and Preventive Medicine related programmes and Projects at different levels.
And as participated in different Leadership skills acquisition trainings.

A die hard lover of True Values, Humility and Bible proven Principles in all areas of Life.
He is a Core Lover of God and Born again Christian.
And a Gifted and Professional Musician and Instrumentalist.
He is a lover of sport most especially football and a Fan of Chelsea football Club.
He’s married to an amazing wife and values family and time spent with family.
He’s a lover of Pets and has kept and cared for Dogs almost all his life…still has a beautiful German shepherd named ‘Jack’.

I am in my early 30s with agility, creativity and versatility.

I am a devoted Christian with strong belief in God and hard work.

 

I love pets,music,reading, travelling and learning new skills.

He’s a member of the Veterinary Council of Nigeria(VCN) and Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA).
Dr Kayode is Veterinary surgeon who is passionate about small animal medicine and surgery
He is Versatile in Pet’s care and their public health implications.
As a devoted Christian, He believes God’s grace, hard work and humility are necessary ingredients for success.
Dr Kayode loves pets, music and plays guitar. His hobbies include travelling and reading.

Dr (Mrs) Aderonke. O Kayode holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the reputable University of Ibadan

She is a member of the Veterinary council of Nigeria (V.C.N) and Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA).

She is a lover of animals and this has encouraged her to practice in one of the best veterinary establishments in Nigeria, Dr TESSY’s Veterinary Hospital.

She loves adventure, reading and acquiring new skills.

Mr. Ayobami Benjamin Holds National diploma in computer science from the Polytechnic of Ibadan.

Actually, he is a great lover of pets but being a staff at Dr Tessy’s Veterinary hospital added more interest, love, boldness and experience to him ,which has made him realize his passion for handling of Pets .

He is a trained dog Handler and groomer.

holds a Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.

Taking care of pets at Dr Tessy’s Veterinary Hospital has made him see a different perspective of Pets’ Care.

He i is determined and serious with whatever he sets his mind to do and has developed passion and love for Pets. He is a great dog lover.

He is a trained Dog Handler.

Onuh Margaret is a trained Veterinary Nurse, a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi..

She is very passionate about anything related to animals and their health..
